Youth Cicada Shirt, 2024 Screenprinted Tshirt

Hello 2024 cicadas! Broods XIX and XIII are coming! This is the first time these two broods will co-emerge since 1803 and it won't happen again for another 221 years. A pretty big deal for cicada fans!

This detailed illustration was created from a photo I took during the Brood X emergence of 2021.

This beautifully detailed illustration is hand colored with GIANT RED EYES so you know it is a periodical cicada. Share the wild, weird Cicada love with your favorite kids!

The Details:
- TShirts are a medium Athletic Gray gray

- Ladies tanks are SOFT, lightweight 4.2 oz fabric, 90% ringspun cotton, 10% polyester
• Retail fit
• Side-seamed
• Tear away label
• Pre-shrunk

- Printed with water-based non-toxic inks
- Image has been lovingly ironed to set ink but slight fading/softening of image may still occur
- Hand screen printed in small batches in my studio in Baltimore, MD

Proper Care:
- Machine wash, tumble dry
