Cicada Shirt 2024, Adult Unisex, Co-Emergence, Screenprinted

Broods XIX and XIII are coming! This is the first time these two broods will co-emerge since 1803 and it won't happen again for another 221 years. A pretty big deal for cicada fans!

This detailed illustration was created from a photo I took during the Brood X emergence of 2021. Image is screen printed in water-based black ink onto a super soft, comfy T and then the little red eyed are hand colored.

Hello Cicadas! We've been waiting for you! Model is approximatey 5'1" and wearing a size small.


The Details:
- TShirts are a medium Athletic Gray gray
- UNISEX SHIRTS S-XL are SOFT, lightweight 4.2 oz fabric, 90% ringspun cotton, 10% polyester.
- Sizes 3X-4X are 5.5 oz , comfy Gildan shirts, 90% ringspun cotton, 10% polyester.
- Pre-shrunk
- Printed with water-based non-toxic inks
- Image has been lovingly ironed to set ink but slight fading/softening of image may still occur
- Hand screen printed in small batches in my studio in Baltimore, MD

Proper Care:
- Machine wash, tumble dry
